My Story

Alex Nicolas' passion for writing music and playing guitar began at the age of fifteen. Inspired by music that he loved, he taught himself how to play guitar, sing, and write songs. At the end of high school, instead of pursuing his dream, he instead opted in for a college degree. Alex enrolled at the University of Houston (UH), pursuing a B.Sc. in geophysics. After five years, he completed his studies at UH. Unsure of his future, Alex decided to do something different, and moved to Karlsruhe, Germany for a M.Sc.. There, he was unable to shake the compelling feeling to go after his dream. Thus, while completing his master's degree, Alex began performing live music throughout southern Germany. In gourmet restaurants, popular bars, well-known cafés, and on the streets, Alex began to pursue his passion. In July 2025, he released his first EP, containing the songs "Sorry To God," "Half-Time," and "Ocean Breeze." These songs reflect the personal experiences, both highs and lows, that he had during his five years living abroad.

Now that Alex has moved to Austin TX, he is dedicated to continuing to pave the path of his music career. He looks forward to playing at exciting events, connecting with other musicians, and continuing to write songs from the heart.
